About Upwardbound Building
Honest work. Thoughtful details. Better ideas for the space.
Upwardbound Building takes on whole-home renovation, kitchens and bathrooms, and select new-build work across the Colorado Springs area, with an emphasis on honesty, detail, and useful design input.
The work is the proof
Upwardbound began taking paid residential projects in 2025. The current portfolio shows that range in connected interior renovations, custom stairs and trim, additions, garage framing and exterior finish, and outdoor structures.
How that approach shows up in the work
Upwardbound’s approach is honest and detail-oriented, with creative design input when it helps the space. The focus is not only the individual task, but how the pieces finish together: how a stair meets the entry, how doors and trim complete a renovation, or how framing, siding, fascia, and soffit resolve a new structure. When a different layout or detail would serve the home better, that idea becomes part of the conversation.
Service came first
The owner served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2009 to 2017. That service is part of the story behind Upwardbound, while the finished work stays front and center.
Built work you can inspect
The current portfolio is intentionally specific: a Pleasant Valley whole-home renovation connecting the kitchen, bathroom addition, doors, trim, and custom stairs; a 275-square-foot Manitou Springs addition; a 550-square-foot detached garage built from architectural plans in Hillside; and a backyard tree-house platform built around a mature tree.
